Manage with available means

Improvisation is the ability to adapt and create solutions using whatever resources are available. It is the opposite of DIY, which refers to the ability to create and build things oneself. However, there is a problem that arises when one lacks the skills and knowledge to create by oneself. This problem is known as 器用貧乏 in Japanese, which can be translated as "the problem of not being able to create by myself and not having skills because I can somehow manage with the reuse of existing things due to knowledge."

In this situation, one may have a lot of things at their disposal, but they struggle to create or build new things because they lack the necessary skills. This can be frustrating, as they are limited to reusing existing items rather than being able to create something new from scratch.
